Wrong. Prior to 2003, the leading suicide bombing organization was the Tamil Tigers of Sri Lankda, a secular, Marxist-influenced separatist group. See Robert Pape’s work on this topic.
Hitchens’ book tour dispelled a lot of myths, but this unfortunate slip up promotes one.
