… by the whole CIA leak investigation thing.  I guess I really don’t care too much.  I mean, I’m willing to believe the worst of anybody involved, but after reading this article on the conviction, I’m really confused.  Like Martha Stewart, Libby seems to have been convicted for obstructing justice — in an investigation that concluded that no crimes has been committed.  Yes, I know everyone THINKS a crime was committed, but that’s rather the entire point of having a legal system.

I don’t really care personally about Libby or this case (convincing me the administration leaked an opponent is like convicting Al Capone on tax evasion), this just seems like an extremely slippery slope to be going down.  It really seems like this precedent could be easily abused.
