This is all I need to know about the bailout legislation:

Decisions by the Secretary pursuant to the authority of this Act are non-reviewable and committed to agency discretion, and may not be reviewed by any court of law or any administrative agency.

That’s a great idea. Let’s give Hank Paulson $700 billion and allow him to do absolutely anything he likes with it, with literally no oversight. What if he decided to buy himself a Lear jet? Could that decision be “reviewed by any court of law?”
